Coach
I was born and raised in Edmonton Alberta, Canada. At 19 I moved to California to pursue a Show Jumping career, I worked at Olympic and World Cup level barns for many years before taking a step back to pursue other interests. I still spend a few hours a week at the barn, as well as rock climb and work as an accounting assistant in the Oil & Gas Industry. I started Jiu-Jitsu at 40 yrs old. After years of “someday I want to…”, I finally tagged along with a friend and was hooked immediately. I have done a lot of things in my Life, but Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most challenging and life changing. I am excited to be able to pass it on to the community. I love to teach and help people grow and reach their goals. Teaching is one of the most fulfilling and purposeful things you can do with your life. Ground Dwellers The Woodlands is truly a passion project, and we are excited to see where it takes us.
